Hi all,
Applied on 14th Dec 2012. Unfortunately till today I don't see any development on my application. Even follow up with Local MP and got reply as "I can confirm that Mr. XXXX application is awaiting consideration by the Croydon casework team and will be dealt with in due course. Please assure your constituent that every effort is being made to deal with all cases as efficiently as possible and that Mr. XXXX will be contacted as soon as a decision has been made on his case".
By the way I paid my tax for financial year 2011-12 and submitted the tax returns for the financial year 2012-13 and last date to pay my tax for 2012-13 is 31st Jan 2014.
I went for ONE DAY service and waiting since 7months then what is the point of paying extra for PEO and what I can do now? Because of this I'm not able to change my job (got a job &refused to offer the job bcoz of VISA status). Please advise me anyone.
Thanks in advance,
L

Was your case complex, self employed? People will help you more if you can provide more details.

Thanks for your reply. Please find more details below and hope it will help you to give some advise.
I applied my Tier1 extension on 14th Dec 2012 by same day service(PEO) but unfortunately till today I didn't hear anything from HO. By the way I'm self employed +working for IT company as a Perm employee. When I am applying i given the below documents
1. 12 payslips from company
2. 12 Bank statements + in the same statements, maintained the sufficient fund (£4500: £900 for main applicant + 2X£1800 for each dependent.)
3. UTR letter
4. Class 2 NI payment slips
5. Bank statements for self employed (Business A/c)
6. 12 Invoices
7. Profit & Loss statement from Accountant
8. P60 from my company
Here for my self employed, I shown 18K which is from Jan2012 to Nov2012. The period (Jan2012 to Nov2012 is spanning into two financial years), my accountant is given one profit & Loss statement. So when I'm returning the tax in HMRC site, I split into 2. Like for financial Yr 2011-12 and Financial Yr 2012-2013. For Fin Yr 2011-12, I earned 3K and and submitted the tax returns and paid the tax on 23rd Jan 2013 but I applied my extension on 14th Dec 2012. And for Fin Yr 2012-13, I submitted the tax returns for 15K and payment is due to 31st Jan 2014. So I will pay the tax for 2012-13 on or before due date.
I applied based on above info. Please could any one suggest me on this because till today I didn't hear anything from HO?
Please could any advise me on this. Loads of things are in pending going mad day by day.

Hi ,
To be honest no one here can tell you the exact " Time Frame " but if you go through number of experience on board , you can have some idea about time , the cases similar to you , will take . According to my understanding you are having A + B setup in which A part goes to perm employment and B part goes to self employment with limited company structure . Cases like this can cause delays ...
wish you best of luck!
Thanks
Ali

Thanks aliq09. Surprise! Yesterday my solicitor received a letter from HO asking for below documents.
1. Please provide official HMRC evidence of self-employment earnings or an SA300 or an SA300 for 2011 to 2012 thereby including the period that you are claiming for.
2. Please submit the us the evidence of the services providedin relation to the invoices drawn on your self-employed training company. (We expect to see any classroom/progress reports, and materials and curriculum exchanged with your students)
3. Please provide an explanation for the series of large payments that are paid out from your bank a/c
This is the update on my case. Now I'm on the job but really need some advise on the above documents. Can any one guide me please.
Your help is really appreciated ,
Thanks in advance,
L

Hi all,
I submitted the below documents.
For Point 1:
1. SA302
2. Tax return 2011-12
3. Tax return 2012-13
For Point2:
1. Course Curriculum
2. Course material (3 Book)
3. My Certifications
4. My latest CV explaining that since carrier starting I was in the same stream
For Point3:
1. Letter from my letting agency where they clearly mentioned that I paid CASH towards rent
2. All monthly original rental bills (I kept those bills since day one )
(and in the covering letter explained the money drawn from cash machine spent on my personal, travel and rental)
A covering letter from Solicitor and and covering letter from me.
So now fingers crossed. Lets see what happens now.
Thanks in advance,
L

Hi All,
Really thanks to mulderpf(Guru), ldbright, aliq09 for your reply. At last after a very long wait, I got the approval letter today. My solicitor called me & shared the info to me. So immediately I'm updating here.
Cheers,
L
