hello im new here have been reading the foruml for some months now and i must say you guys are helpful..
i am a british citizen,early this year in january my sister visited wih my aunty,my aunty has gone back but my sister decided to stay with me as shes not bein well treated back home she is 15yrs old and her visa has expired last month.i would like her to remain here with me and continue her studies but im confuse about how to go about it and also regularise her stay..any advice would be appericiated..thanks

Explain what you mean by she is not being treated well? Is there any evidence? Are we talking about abuse? If there are exceptional and compelling circumstances there may be some options. Where are the parents?

thanks for your response there is no evidence that shes beng maltreated,she lives with my aunty bcos my mum n dad cant afford to take care of her as hey dont work my mum is sick and my dad is looking after her,my sister complains how bad my aunty treats her and uses her like maid other relatives has confirmed that too..

hello can anyone help with advice on how to go about my sisters issue as its really eating me up i desperately need an advice..im on low income and on housing benefit i was wonderin if i should register her with the council lettin them know she lives with me also wondering what to do about her school will i get in problem what should i do i need your advice pls help any advice will highly be appericiated...thanks

Contact Southall Black Sisters see if they can help.

If you go to the council under schedule 3 of the Nationality Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 they are required to inform the UKBA of over stayers.
