Visa status during application process?

Hello,

It's really nice to see such a helpful community and it has been really enlightening to read all the information here!

One question I haven't actually seen addressed is, if I'm currently a full time employee and am looking to switch to contracting under my own company, what will my visa status be during the time my T1 Ent application is submitted and before it is (hopefully) approved? My PSW visa will expire in August. Will I be able to continue as a full time employee or should I tender my resignation before I put in my T1 ent application?

ur status will be same(as psw) till ur T1E application decide.
once decided and ur visa get approved then immediately T1E visa limitation applies.

technically yes however from psw-T1E application ur new business shud be up and running and actively trading thats why ukba demands atleast 1 trading contract.

ukba may ask how u managing ur new business when u already doing a full time job?

so u better know how u will manage ur new business and existing job.
