Tier1(General) dependent extension-- FLR(M) or PBS extension

Hi

First of all thanks for the forum for giving us opportunity to clear our doubts and helpings us very patiently.

I am planning to apply for ILR in September 2013. My wife has only joined me in May 2013. Considering my ILR will be granted in Sep 2013, which form my wife has to fill for extension. Is it FLR(M) or PBS dependent form.

If it is upto me to choose I would prefer to go for FLR(M) as they only charge £850 for further leave to remain as a dependent of settled person. where as Tier-1 dependent normal extension charges more than £1000.

Presuming you are going to apple ILR from Tier 1 General.

You should go for FLR(M).

I will be applying for FLR(M) for my wife in October. UKBA points based calculator confirms the institution that my wife has got B.Tech degree from, in India can gain 10 points for English Language.

Is this sufficient. Do I need to print this as an evidence when applying FLR(M)

OR does she need to take English Language test (ESOL)
