i applied on 16th May , but no checks were made . so i guess they wont be making it anymore.. as yours was done within a month !!

I applied on 02/04/2013. As I work for a large organization its very difficult to know weather employment checks were made or not.Still no answer. Waiting for RFC...
Its over 13 weeks now..

Its over 13 weeks now..

we haven't had any employment checks either. I guess some case have them and some don't.

Does any one know how their system works...with regards to employment checks,finances,relationship etc...
Normally if they reject application is it return early or it still takes normal time as it takes for visa grant.

i think all march applicants got their rfc after 68 days i think we should also keep that in mind. But i wish and pray that we all get our rfc's before 68 days... inshallah ameen

no matter where you have applied from ,

all settlement cases come to islamabad bhc from karachi lahore mirpur etc ...

thats what i have been told !!

any one has any idea what were the processing times for the month of march & april...

like right now for May 2013 100% settlement cases are done in 60 days ?

95% processed in 60 days, for march and april, however it's BULL**** as we all know it took well over 60 days for 95% of late march applicants, some are still waiting.

I think if its been over 60 days I'd personally email gerry to say that you have waited over 60 days etc. normally that pushes your case quicker through the system. You should here by the end of 1st week of July I guess, take care sister

just take your expired tb test with you... encase they point out its expired .. tell them you had applied for visa and they took long and its expired now..

if they want it so badly and insist.. they have the facility available to get xray done inside airport before immigration desks..

dont stress over it.. enjoy your flight

Good Evening,

Just to clear the confusion here guys. Please do not go by the UKBA Processing times for settlement visa's as they are clearly wrong. I have been checking them for one year and they do not make sense.

Please note I applied last year in May and they were then taking 120+ working days and now a days due to the new rules they are taking approx 60-75 working days so just be patience.

However don't get me wrong some odd people might get a response before but the norm this year is 65+ working days as you can see from other people RFC's as well.

I know its a painstaking process but I hope everyone get's visa first time as I have went into appeal and since May to May it has been a year and it's taking forever.

I hope this clarifies all the processing time information and also no point emailing Gerrys as you will get a standard response we are just an agent who sends stuff to the embassy but you can send email but normally they are unable to do anything.

the march applicants heard in average of 68 working days ( while ukba said 95% done in 60 days ) visa must been stamped on 60th day but by the time it was transfered to gerrys and given to applicants.. it became 68th day !!

now processing is bit improved , 100% in 60 days !! lets hope for best ..

Guys,

"God forbid" if anyone is refused and don't a very good chance in an appeal, you may wish to consider exercising your EU Treaty Rights. I know a lot of people coming from the EU and doing exactly the same thing very successfully, UK nationals can do the same.

When I emailed gerry they wrote back saying that they will forward my email to BHC. About 8 days later I heard a reply.. Visa granted.. So I guess it may quicken things or so..

I applied from Karachi on 19/4/2013 application fwd to BHC 3/5/2013...
Still waiting for reply..any1 who applied in April got any response? I am tired of waiting this is so stressful
