I have got following reply from Home office today. My ref. no. is 1705*. and application date is 21/4/2004


Dear Applicant

Your application is still awaiting allocation to a caseworker. We are
currently working on applications received around the 16/4/2004. We
should reach your application with in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately there is no timescale for how long it will take for a decision letter to reach you.
