For online spouse/fiance(e) visa application (VAF4A), is appendix 2 also submitted online or is it always filled in by hand and submitted with original documents.

For online spouse/fiance(e) visa application (VAF4A), is appendix 2 also submitted online or is it always filled in by hand and submitted with original documents.

You will have to submit VAF4A Appendix 2 with the printed online form to the VAC while you send your supporting documents originals directly to BHC or UKBA designated visa office for your country.

I understand that VAF4a is filled online, and sent online and then also printed and submitted to VAC/embassy.

What I wanted to know is whether appendix 2 is also filled online first with VAF4A?

No Appendix 2 is not filled online. You will have to download it, complete it and submit it together with your Printout from online application at the designated VFS office in your country.
