EEA2 Documents

Post by eng.kamo » Sun Jul 07, 2013 8:35 pm

Dear forum members,

As I have been in UK for 1 month & 5 days now I am in process of filling my EEA2 ( residence card ) application and I have few questions related to the required documents.

Firstly, Do I have to provide the Originals of every document I attach to my application ?
Secondly, My wife ( EEA National ) will be submitting her EEA1 application in the same time, Can we include them in the same package since her passport will be needed for both applications ? If NO do we have to submit her EEA1 later ?
Thirdly, She can't find the original of her employment contract, but her employer will fill the part related to her employment in my application personally, Can we submit a copy of the Employment contract as well ?

My marriage certificate was translated to English back in Egypt ( my home country ) by an accredited office, which was OK by the ECO in Egypt, Is that also going to be OK by the Home Office here in UK ?

Thanks in advance

Originals would be better. Original passports, translated marriage certificate will be required.

Why bother with EEA1 - save yourself £55.

I still have the translation I used to get my EEA FP , will that suffice ? Or I will need to get it translated here in UK ?

That one will be fine if NOT more than six months.
