as long as u can establish a company and ur job will be above level 4 and can have contract showing ur company trading then why not?

partner having LLM degree how u can accommodate him in ur business, plz go through list of allowed jobs on level4 by ukba.

You both can definitely form a team...as you both can start a law firm where one is a marketing person and the other legal person...or you can also form a retail distribution company or many more opportunities.....just start your company and try to fit in your roles...your LLM colleague can also do contracts for your company and so on...

how

The last post advise you can establish a law firm. how can you do that when you are not a Lawyer? LLM doesnt make you a lawyer. million miles from being a lawer.

About your job being at level 4 or above? that is not true. you need but your business to be above that level not your job. so th OP's task is to make sure their business, what ever it trades on, falls above that level.

legal consultant

You can be a legal consultant in an area of law that you practice in without beng a solicitor or barrister. This area of law should not be one of those that are reserved for lawyers. You can set up a consultancy in areas of practice that is not reserved for lawyers by law. Check the legal services act 2007 to see if your area of practice is reserved or not. Your success will depend on your experience. also check the paralegal association that advise non-lawyers
