Appeal decision taking too long

My hearing was on june 19. Judge had told me he will make decision on 10 days. But its been nearly 5 weeks I haven't heard anything. Is this normal? Is it likely decision will against me bcoz its taking lot of time?

i have but they only say decision has not been made.. they say nothing more
i am afraid if my file have been misplaced and judge have no idea about it
