Earnings for last three years required?

Hi All,

I need your Advice. Quite contrary to what the rules say about the earnings of last 12 months to be shown , I have heard that the HO requires Indians to show ITR returns of last three years and that if the earnings of the last three years are not up to the mark...the HSMP will not be granted.

My earnings for 2006-2007 are up to the mark but prior to that I was a student and therefore not earning....do I have chance for HSMP this year???

For instance, perhaps in your country people tend to work one year and stop so they are not consistent wage earners and this could be an issue for HO as they may not want to issue visas to people with this kind of work ethic.

So if this is the case, then if you worked before school, you might want to show income for 2 years before you attended school.

This is all speculative and a hypothesis with no supporting evidence just a way to explain why the HO could be asking this special requirement of Indian Nationals

It's a load of rubbish, the requirements are the same for everybody.

HSMP needs income proof for 12 months out of last 15 months. If you have sufficient income to pass past earning criteria points, for past 12 months that is enough. Nowhere it is mentioned that you need to show 3 years income.
