Help and Advice Needed, Please!

Post by Nina8888 » Sun Aug 11, 2013 3:09 pm

Hello. I hold an Indian passport, and have a fully funded offer for a Master's from a university in London. About 5 and a half years ago, I overstayed on my French student visa ("carte de sejour") by about three months. I flew back on my own accord, and the visa official casually remarked about my overstay but didn't put an "overstayer" stamp on my passport, and I was not fined or questioned anywhere. I've mentioned my stay in France on the Tier 4 application since they asked if I've been abroad in the last ten years. My question is, will I get a UK student visa if my finances, and biometrics etc. are fine, and my intent of study is proved through my interview and previous academic record?

Any advice will be much appreciated! Thank you.

I don't think there is any valid reason to refuse your application if you fulfil all visa requirements.
