UK Citizen + South african Partner - Germany

Hi everyone, I am looking for information on a UK citizen with a South African partner who are planning to live and work in Germany. Both have been resident in South Africa, and have been married for more than 5 years. 1 dependant also UK citizen.

UK citizen is main income earner and has a firm job offer. South African partner has a job offer from same company, but not sure if a work permit is required or not. Also not sure if something equivalent to the UK Spousal Visa is required?

Please point me in the direction of requirements for the South African partner to legally travel and live in Germany? I know things can get complicated.
