When were you born?CHIDI wrote:I AM A BIT CONFUSE ABOUT MY STATUS, MY FATHER IS BRITISH AND MY MOTHER IS ALSO BRITISH. DOSE THIS MEAN THAT I AM ALSO BRITISH EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T BORN IN BRITAIN?
I think. No, you are not British or entitled to British nationality. Why? You parents naturalised as British, and were not born British, which means they cannot pass on their nationality to you (by descent). Now, if you had moved with your parents before your 18th birthday, you could well have naturalised along with your parents (as their dependent), but since you are now over 18 (and I'm thinking in your mid-20s?), you cannot claim citizenship from them at all.CHIDI wrote:was just getting used to my new keyboard!
