Child benefit HELP!

I will be applying for my husbands spouse visa soon & need to know if I can still claim child benefit or not?

If you are settled or British then you can claim benefits. Child benefit should be in your name and tax credits in joint names.

my wife and child visa has been recently accepted 3 weeks ago

my wife has pakistani passport and also child has pakistani passport( i will be applying for british passport for her soon)

can i apply for child benefits, child tax credit and working tax credit and can i put them through joint account or in my name only?

Are you wife and child settled - been granted ILR/PR?

If you wife is still subject to immigration control, the child benefit should be in your name and tax credits in joint, if you all have ILR then anyone can claim benefits.

visa application has been accepted and they travelled on 26 july 2013
we will be applying for FLR M in 2.5 year time?

they both got pakistani passport but i have british passport so can i apply for three of them? will it affect my application when i apply for FLR M

You can apply for them but child benefit must be in your name and tax credits in joint names. By the way you're writing I assume that your children are British.

My child was born in Pakistan but she has come over with her mother so ill be applying for British passport for my daughter thank you for your help

Yes through my father which I can't pass on so i could only apply from England through mn1 form

Yes, a section 3(2) application, you are therefore, British by descent as are your children, you wife once naturalised will be British otherwise than by descent.

After 2.5 yearsI will need to apply for flr m then another 2.5 years I will apply for ILR do I still need to show I'm earning 18.600 till I get ILR for my wife

Yes you must meet the financial requirements when you extend on flr(m) and when you apply for ilr on set(m).

Ok is that for 2.5 years or 6 months before applying

At the time of application the sponsor and or the applicant should meet the financial requirement. It depends on the circumstances, it could mean that your salaried employment under cat A met the requirements if you had been working for 6+ months with the same employer. Alternatively, the requirement could be met by savings etc....
