Summons issued for earlier offence - effect on ILR

Post by indian2012 » Sun Aug 18, 2013 11:16 am

Hi,

I was issued a summons from Harrow magistrates court for TV licensing offence ( using TV without licence from 01/02/2011 - 01/04/2011).

I pleaded guilty by post and explained by exceptional financial circumstances at the time.

I received notification from TV licensing and Harrow magistrates Court that offence has been withdrawn and hence there was no need to attend court on the said date.

I have letters from TV licensing and Court confirming the same.

Kindly advise if I need to declare this offence in my ILR application in the county court cases section or I would be better off to not declare it.

If you were not convicted then there is nothing to declare.
