Tier 2 General Dependent - Employer Sponsor Letter

Post by chaitu.sunkara » Mon Aug 12, 2013 7:16 pm

Hi,

Regarding Tier 2 General dependent visa application from India -
To avoid some confusion regarding the funds maintenance I have requested my company for a sponsorship letter stating that 'Should it become necessary, ABC, a tier 2 A-rated sponsor will maintain and accommodate main applicant and each dependent...". They have provided one.

Should I also attach my bank statements or do you think it might cause some confusion for the case worker?

Also, is it safe to keep the funds in my bank account or would it not matter?

Regards,
Chaitanya

Hi,

Following my decision to retain the statements I am in need of money here for my marriage and would like to release some amount. However, for the following question I have answered as below. Should it matter if the money is now removed from the account?

PLEASE STATE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY AVAILABLE AND TOTAL NUMBER OF DEPENDANTS
I ABC, AM THE ONLY DEPENDANT TO MY HUSBAND. MY HUSBANDS SPONSOR HAS AGREED TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE FOR BOTH OF US. A BALANCE OF 2877.03 GBP HAS ALSO BEEN MAINTAINED BY MY HUSBAND IN HIS UK BANK ACCOUNT. SUPPORTING EVIDENCES ARE ATTACHED.

Regards,
Chaitanya

I have read that and it clearly says that I need to provide either the sponsor letter or bank statement. But since I have mentioned about the bank balance also on the application is the bank statement mandatory now?
