It ought not to be.atisob wrote:Hi everyone,
My husband wants to apply for a schengen for the Netherlands. His residence card is issued on a a4 paper and not on his passport.
Will this be a problem, when applying the schengen visa?
Anyone who got a schengen visa like this?
This is pretty much correct. The only slight complication can be that as a Dutch person, you will be expected to evidence that you exercised treaty rights in the UK (evidence of your employment perhaps).atisob wrote:Thank you for ur reply.
In the guide i read that if my husband (non-eu) joins me ( his eu spouse) he can travel without applying for a visa?
i am planning to visit the Netherlands ( i am a dutch national) and because of work my husband cant travel with me, so he will travel later.
So does that mean if he joins me ( travel later than me) he doesnt need a schengen visa at all, he just should have a rc? thts enough?
Need ur help...am a bit confused...
