STAMP 4

Post by OLUMUYIWA » Tue Aug 27, 2013 6:38 pm

I have just gone to Garda to obtain a temporary stamp 4 , while my EU1 application is still under consideration.
When i looked at the stamp 4 in my passport as well as the GNIB card , it shows the expiry date as August 2017 .

I am wondering ....shouldn't the temporary stamp 4 be expiring in 6 months ?? Or is it normal to issue the temporary stamp 4 for four years ????

what is the expiration date on the letter you went with? The date of expiry must be on the letter you have, check.

The letter i was sent said " You can proceed to Garda and a temporary stamp 4 may be isued to you for the period you are waiting for a decision from this office".

Can anyone who has got a temporary stamp 4 after submitting an EU1 application please tell me when does their temporary stamp 4 expire ??

Everybody else is getting 6 months, they just made a mistake with yours.

Maybe the garda was tired and when he read temporary Stamp 4 he though stamp for 4 years :-)

Anyway as Diomond said ... not your fault and better for you, so no need to worry.
