New Visa Application

I am going to apply my tier 4 visa application next month I did my PGD level 7 from London last year after that I applied for my extension but unfortunately my father got an accident in Pakistan so I withdraw my application and came back to Pakistan now I want to finish my masters from University in London my question is when I applied for my extension I had a valid visa but after three month when I withdrawn my application my visa been already expired because my application was under process now my consultant advice me to write a covering letter along with new application and explain my circumstances.

Plz advice me how should I apply for my new application to satisfy them.

Thanks deviser actually I was confused that when I will send my application along with my passport definitely they will check my previous visa expiry date and my exit date from London so the explanation which I will provide them in covering letter will help to clear my status. Am I right?

If you had sent application in time which you withdrawn later and then immediately left then you won't be considered overstayer. On explaining your circumstances and the study progress proof such as transcript/results till departure you should be fine.

thanks deviser and Sheraz yes I made my application on time and left uk with in 2 week after withdrawn hope I am safe ??????? because when I receive my all documents there is a letter inside from ukba stated that "we are sending you required document on your request this is canceled your previous application" that's it..
