confused; finger scans

hi guys my wife applied mid April at Islamabad;

end of April visadropbox tracking system said that your documents have returned; when we went and asked they said they're not here..

Around the same time we were given an appointment for finger scan on 8th May; but the embassy was shut that day due to technical faults/reasons..

We havent heard from the embassy since..
Fedex again said your documents have been returned to you and when we explained the situation, we were told to fax a reminder letter to the embassy..still nothing..we tried calling the embassy but no one answers the phone..

checked again on visadropbox and now it says you have entered an invalid number



has anyone else had similar experiences?

the ebassies are still closed, so i as soon as they open, contact them then, also i wasnt aware of finger scans, i thought they did that b4 handing in your application form. well i hope you luck, i myself am n the 6th week of my wifes application. just have to wait and see.

the embassy was closed for just 2 days..its open now..

i contacted them n they've given us a new appointment for this week..

finger scans taken at the embassy after you've applied..

did your wife apply for a spouse settlement visa? because i have been told by the bhc and gerrys visa service that ppl appkying for settlement visas are not required to give finger scans. when i submitted my papers 5 weeks ago i was told at fed ex that my finger scans are not required and that i have to wait for the usual 12 weeks before i hear from the embassy please can u clear this

she's applied for spouse settlement..
She had her scans taken today and they said we'll here back in 8 to 10 days..

scans are for all the visa applicants regardless of type of visa..

Fedex people will not give you any date for Finger Print scan for settlement VISA's
Embassy is supposed to call you for this.

we got our visa last week..

assad, its our 12th week, we also applied mid april, but my wife hasnt been called in for any fingerscans, for that matter, no news from the embasy at all! whats your situation now?

anyone in this forum been asked to collect appointment letter for fingerscans from fedex islamabad.. can you go there and collect the paper anytime its convinient for you (before the appointment ofcourse!) or do they give you any specific time.

i dont know any time, but they gave the appointment to my wife when they choose, she got the paper on friday, and the appointment is for wednesday, they didnt ask my wife anything.
