Iam on tier 2 visa validi till 2015
i have switched my job .newCOS is issued and valid till2016
i have resigned frommy present post now Iam on notice period
My last working day is 15th SEPT2013and my joinning for future employer is 15th oct 2013
what will be my position from 15thsept to15th oct ,i mean can i stay in UK between that time period
please reply urgent as i very worried
second question is it possible for my visa to be refused despite having a valid COS as i have resigned

I have 3 dependents two children and husband.My husband is out of UK currently he is my dependent and has gone for holidays,He wll be coming back on 30th of september and will apply for new visa as my dependent for my new employer .so will it be possible forhimto enter UK as i amgoing forsame day appointment on10th september.will it make any diffrence if my visa is changed for new employer but his visa will be changed after 30th sept

You are worrying unnecessarily.

Your present visa is valid until 2015. When you finish your present employment on 15 September the employer has to report it to HO within 10 days following which the HO would normally curtail your leave to 60 days. This is to allow migrants time to find a new sponsor or wind up their affairs before leaving the UK. However, you will hopefully have a new leave granted when you visit the PEO on 10 September and will start work in your new job on 15 October. Just make sure that your application is in order.

Yor family should have no problem re-entering the UK on 30 September.

Please Help
my previous tier 2 was till 2015 .As I mentioned in my previous post that my children and my husband are my dependent and their visa is also valid till 2015 as my dependent.
i switched my employer and got COS from new employer and got my leave to remain till 2016 from home office as on new COS it is till 2016 ( primium service) and i will receive my BRP in 7 days.

Now I asked Homeoffice officer in person when i went for my visa that do i need to change my dependents visa as well .she called somebody in front of me and asked him and replied that if validity of my dependents is till 2015 then they dont need to change till 2015 .As i am the main applicant and only i have to change and they are my dependents and their validity is till205 so they will need to change in 2015 to get it done till 2016
i am confused as you told me i have to change my dependent, visa as well
please help me as your reply will save my money or will guide me what to do
