ILR Validity

How long is a ILR valid for?

There is a valid until date on my Biometric card which is valid for 10 years until 19-08-2023.

Can someone please confirm?

The status of an ILR holder is valid indefinitely, but is subject to the returning residents provisions.

Similarly, a passport has an expiry date, but citizenship does not.
A Biometric residence permit may be renewed, similar to renewing a passport.
