After getting PR can I travel Overseas?

I have applied for Permanent Residence even though it says it is "Automatic"

As far as I know PR means ILR.

After getting PR I need to travel overseas and stay there for around a year.

- Am I going to loose my right to apply for British Citizenship at all?
- Or, after I come back can I apply for BC?
- if yes, then should I wait for another 5 years to qualify or 2 years only?

Yes you can travel. You would loose PR on absence exceeding two years.

There are separate rules on the number of days' absence you can have prior to obtaining citizenship. The up to date information is published on UKBA's website.

When I come back after one year should I wait for 5 years again or I can apply for BC in 2 years?

None.

You can apply when you meet the residential requirements for BC. The earliest (depending on the amount of absences in the years before) would be 9 months after your return.
