Urgent - Hotel Booking as accm. proof for dependent visa

Post by arsen » Fri Aug 30, 2013 4:14 pm

Hi Everyone

I am currently on tier-2 general visa and my visa is valid for another 2 years.
I am planning to bring my wife from India to UK as my dependent.
I want to know if I book hotel for 10 days. Can I show it as an accommodation proof as I can not show tenancy agreement or lodger agreement?

Regards
Mayank

If she is coming here as a dependent to settle, then I am afraid a hotel booking will not be accepted. You will need to show you have sufficient accommodation of your own (owned/rented etc) and is exclusively occupied by you and your wife.
