Sponsor Licence -- Notification Process

Post by mangomm » Tue Sep 17, 2013 10:55 am

Hello all,

My employer received an email from the Home Office notifying him that they have activated his Sponsor Management System.

This is the first we have heard from the Home Office re our application -- we haven't received news it was successful for or not. But, does this email with the SMS information mean that he has been approved as a registered sponsor? He is not yet on the list of sponsors.

This means your company got the license.
Exactly the same thing happened to my company yesterday. Today UKBA added them to the list of sponsors. So if you check the list tomorrow, you'll find your company in it.

No problem.

Just out of interest, are you switching to Tier 2 from other category or applying from outside the UK?

Hi, really sorry for the delayed response! I seemed to have missed the notification of your post.

I am switching to Tier 2 from PSW, within the UK.
