Oh yes, the updates you get on the email is totally nonsense ...

To confirm this, I emailed them yesterday to get an update on my application and guess what, response was no decision has yet been made.

Congrats Sameer.

Some reply's from emails are reliable like "a decision has been made on your application"..
Just can't take the "no decision made" emails seriously. :)

but some people have been told that a decision had been made and it still took them ages to receive the letter; which seems to indicate that it hadn't actually been made...

I don't know pal, it seems to me like they just copy and paste the template and they don't even check....

I think there's a link on the website where you can request your documents back; you don't have to necessarily withdraw it, but not sure if it will affect it.

Urgent travel? They can take upto 20 days to return your documents.
You can request them via their website. I did that and I received them with an approval letter in a couple of days but that might just be a coincidence or maybe they wanted to save on stamps and decided to send everything together :D

ilr_hsmp2007 your words did come tru ilr_hsmp..

Just booked ceremony for 14th October, asked for private ceremony, council said they don't provide private ceremony except for armed forces. Bit odd.

Derivaz, did you get it? I feel you should get it very soon.

UKBA email reply's are not trustworthy, as I got reply "no decison made", and the approval letter date is earlier than the email reply.

Congrats pal; no, I haven't got any letter yet; I applied 11 days later than you, so theoretically, mine should come around this time too, but who knows....

I'll send another email next weekend to get another "no decision" reply lol
