ILR approved - Croydon (23 Sep 2013) Tier 2

Post by Sz_86 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 10:02 pm

Hi all

First of all thanks to this great forum which helped me prepare for my ILR application and made it a success. I am posting the events that took place to help any future applicants.

I made the ILR application based upon completing 5 years on a work permit.

I was granted the initial work permit in Oct 2008. Previously i was on a student visa in UK. In oct 2010 i switched employer and was granted Tier 2 until Dec 2013. As my 5 years were completing in October 2013, i booked the PEO appointment 28 days in advance.

I enclosed the following documents for my application
1-completed Set O form
2-2 photographs
3-Life in the uk pass
4-5 p60s
5-last 12 payslips as that were all i had. Lastest 3 payslips were printed on employer letterhead
6-3 months bank statements
7-letter from employer confirming the salary is above the SOC code and i am still required for the job
8-Letter from employer confirming the days i was out of the country
9- letter from previous employer confirming the period i was employed with them and the days of annual leave ( breakdown)
10- SAR documents as i lost the old passport which had the initial entry stamps on it.

Copies of all these documents.

I think that was all!

The staff were really helpful. I was informed that my documents were all fine and they did not require anything further and i was granted the ILR.

Thanks and best of luck :D
