Tier 2 visa extension

I mistakenly claim child benefit allowance for few months in year 2010. Same year i came to know not entitled for this allowance under Tier 2 migrant visa. Informed HMRC about my mistake. Pay back them the received allowance in 2011. This year I need last extension for 1 more year before ILR. They have changed the question in Tier 2 extension form. I declared yes i mistakenly received child benefit allowance for few months in 2010 but also pay back the received allowance. I have valid job and valid sponsorship for next two years 2013-2014. will i will loose my extension due this and if I have to go for appeal process against the extension decision what are my chances to win and how to pursue my case in Tribunal.

Thank U ... manci.. Its a great relief to me , that errors are accepted by the Home Office . if payment is deposited back. Which I already did.
