I got my biweekly reply; another copy and paste "no decision made", hang on,... they added and extra sentence this time "unfortunately, we can no longer let you know if your application has been assigned"; lol

And of course always the same person replying....

Aww well, that's me for a fortnight haha

I just check and quite a few August applicants have got their approvals already; I wonder if there is anyone else from July that is still waiting?

Thanks.

Just to let you know that I applied on July 3rd and the current status is "no decision made" the previous status (4 weeks) ago was "waiting allocation to a case worker". I have enquirer twice since applied, I ask once a month.

I am from the so called "High Risk Countries" and probably subject to extra checks? I was not in hurry but now I have to book a seat in PhD and if I am not naturalised I am required to pay the international fees which is couple of grands. I didn't think the process will stretch to the fourth month.

Thank you all for sharing your timelines.

HI there

OK, so that makes 2 of us lol

I'm EU, so not a risk country, but still got delayed for some reason; it's probably just bad luck; I think it's just a lottery, if you are lucky it goes fast, if not it takes ages, but it doesn't seem to depend on anything in particular just luck.

I'm not in a hurry, but I'd like to know the result, because if it's refused I'll move to another country and I want to buy property and apply for other internal jobs, so no point in buying here if it's refused, cos I will leave; so I'd like to know the decision to start looking for property either here or in the new country.

2 of us waiting from July, Alsuwaidi and me; it seems like we have fallen under the unlucky 5% category or something like that...

I am not too surprised with the delay as over 50% applications from my country face delay like 12-16 weeks processing times. I wished for 16 weeks lol the more u think about it the longer the time stays still. Dont chase it thru ncs mp or any other way. It wont make any diff. I know a friend who knew someone in HO but that person could only tell the status. U cant push them. I am holding manythings because of this. I hope i hear from them soon

Well, in your case, it has already been 12 weeks, in my case around 10....

I'll contact the NCS after 6 months, if I'm unable to ring the HO, if not my MP; someone would have to find out what is going on...

Are we the only 2 July applicants waiting? anyone else?

I think there are couple of others, they posted in general timeline.
Derivaz, may be your tesco vouchers are not enough yet to celebrate so UKBA are waiting until you get few more.

OK so 4 of us only; it seems like we fell under that 5% category..... we might not get a reply in months and months.... I wonder if i should just withdraw it and move to another country; this is mental; we might be waiting for ages without being able to decide about our future.... it might just be better to forget about it and ask for a transfer to another country!

There is no need to withdraw. Just move to another country if you want to and come back to attend the ceremony whenever you get approval.

But if I move to another country there is no point in getting BC; I will stay here if it's approved, but the thing is that if it's under that small unlucky category; it might be the ones that they refuse; so it seems like me and these other 3 might have been unlucky and be in this category...

I guess I'll wait a bit longer and after a while start looking for a job in the target country so if I get BC before I get a job there, I stay, if I get a job there before I get BC, I move and forget about BC; i guess that's a good plan :)

I'm actually thinking that maybe they sent me a letter got lost and they are waiting on a reply from me, but obviously, I can't reply, because I didn't get it and the customer service person just see in the system that a decision hasn't been made, but she doesn't know why and the caseworker is waiting and waiting... but what could I do about that?

I am sure nothing is wrong with your appl. Its just they are letting it mature.
We are still getting July approvals, they havent finished yet.

What's happening with royal mail strike?

mine was very straight forward, but rules are so vague that they can refuse it over some technicality; like if one of my landlords cheated and didn't report me as a tenant or something like that beyond my control.

No idea about royal mail, for the moment they are delivering fine, i think the
strikes might start in the 2nd half of the month; but i guess it will be on specific days not indefinitely, no?

I don't think there will be a strike as Royal Mail, shares are being sold out at the moment (£750 minimum investment) there will be no point in strike action after being sold.
