Exceptional Circumstances - CoS

Post by Lynz1988 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 7:19 pm

Has anyone ever had an employer apply for a restricted CoS with exceptional circmumstances? Reason I'm asking is the next batch of CoS applications are due on the 5th - my company switched law firms from the time that they were set up to sponsor and so are awaiting login details for the SMS for which they have been told should come this week. But my question is if the login doesn't come this week, I miss the cut off for October CoS - which really screws me because my idiot landlord decided to tell me that the lease on my flat isn't going to be renewed but neglected to say anything until after I left the countr for my new visa - I've got until the end of the month to get out of my flat!

Thanks for that. It would seem that the onus would be put on the company and their procedures however, they've been waiting from the UKBA for nearly 4 weeks for login details for the SMS and have been told it should arrive late this week. Seems to me that it then would not be the company's fault for the delay? Realize this is all case by case situations but just wondering if anyone had any experience with this or something similar.
