Thanks I have written a letter and the HO has since refunded my fees as per the judges request. no guarantee it would speed things up but it's worth trying.

Can you please provide a list of documentation you provided to support your application? And how long the 50K was in your account for?
Oh and did you separate the accounts for the maintenance (900 pounds) and the investment (50k)? Or you had them in one account?
