Existing UK visit Visa

Hi, I'd like to know that if you already hold a general visit visa to UK which is valid when you apply for the T1 Entrepreneur visa (200k cat outside UK) - does the visit visa get cancelled if your application is approved? What happens if it doesn't get approved...is the visit visa still in danger of being cancelled?
