Post by adnan742 » Sat Oct 12, 2013 12:29 am

Hello, My cousin is looking to apply for Teir-1 (Entrepreneur) from Pakistan, I can understand that he needs to show 200k in bank account, can anyone please let me know for how long 200k keep in the account before applying Tier-1, do we need to give UKBA the source of this income ? also can some please recommend me any good solicitor/consultant in Pakistan to apply Tier 1 Entrepreneur , also I am in UK since last 5 years is there anyway i can support my cousin application?

Please someone reply/guide me in this regards.

Thanks,

money has to be in account till ur application decide however no time frame for putting money in account before application, cud be a day before application.
u dnt need to tell the source of income unless they inquire abt source of moey.
u can support ur cousin application by giving him money and help him getting all docs sorted other than no way u can help.

@ mcr2013, stop generalizing on issue. There are always good and bad people from every country throughout the world.

@ adnan742, to add to what Darvesh has advice, you can also help your cousin by reading the Immigration rules and policy guidance very well rather than putting all your trust in agents or solicitors.

But you can use solicitor or agent as guidance if you want as that's your personal choice but never put all your trust in them.

hi
i deposited 200 k in my saving account for the last 3-4 months and visa officer never asked about the source of funds in my case. although i had 50 k in my Business current account so i think it should be at least 3 month before process the new application.
