I am not sure if its a right place to post this..

But this is regarding the time line query as well..

as mentioned above I applied in 28/08/2013...

Since than there is a change of my circumstances.

I have filled the online form to update my new address but I am going through divorce and filed a divorce in as well. This is the reason I am moving out from the family house.

Now I rang them today after updating my address form, to ask; do I need to write to you to change in my personal circumstances; where my application is not based on spouse its based on a five year basis.

she said ["NO" wait till we ask you for further information]

shall I still write to them or just wait?

bit confused...

Finally, i got the brown envelope after 2 months and 10 days wait.#

Even if you do get through to them, you will just get a standard reply "under consideration". Actually there is no point ringing them before 6 months.

Applied on 22nd august still waiting!!!!
But home office rang me yesterday to ask me how long I have been in the uk and whr would I like to attend my ceremony. I asked how long would it be before I get my papers back and she replied that there are more checks to do which can take another 3 months!!!!

That means that your application is being looked at actively now.

Did you not provide the information they asked for when you filled up the form?

I gave details clearly. I even had my boarding pass from when I came to this country so even wrote the date with times and also attached my passports plus boarding passes with the application. I gave all the information but they were asking me the same questions again so I don't know what's happening there. Unless they think I'm stealing someone else's ID!!

At last. Got it....More than 2 months' wait.

Eligibility criteria: 5 Years + 1 Yr ILR
Method of application: NCS
Date of application: 21/08/2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 22/08/2013
Date of acknowledgement: 02/09/2013
Date of debit of fees: 11/09/2013 (first payment failed on 26/08)
Date of approval: 25/10/2013 (dated 16/10/2013)
Date of Ceremony: TBC

Best of luck for all the remaining applicants from August who are still waiting. You will get the good news very soon...

Eligibility criteria: HSMP + TIER 1 (total 5 years)+ ILR 1 year
Method of application: Postal, No NCS, sent by SD
Date of application: 24 Aug 13
Date of receipt by UKBA: 27 Aug 13 (as it was long weekend holiday)
Date of debit of fees: 29 Aug 13
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 3 Sep 13
Date of receipt of approval: 24 Sep 13 (Recd 27 Sep 13by SD that I attached)
Date of Ceremony: 18 Oct 13

Application Type :First Adult Passport
Method of Application: NO Help of post office, sent by recorded delivery
Date of Application: 17.10.2013
Date Monies take by IPS: 21.10.2013
Date of Return Documents: 06 Nov 13
Date of Receipt of Interview Letter : 28 Oct 13
Date of Passport Interview Appointment: 29 Oct 13
Date of Passport Receipt: 08 Nov 13
