No national insurance and unemployed

Hi can someone tell me do you require national insurance to apply for british citizenship as I never needed this as am a house wife after a spouse visa ilr granted five years ago.i also am unemployed as I never worked...thanks.

You need NINO if you want to claim benefits. If you don't have one (and never had one), wouldn't that prove you didn't claim benefits?!

And by the way - how many people is "a lot of people say"? 2 people, 5 people, 100 people? You can ask them if you are not happy with answers given here.

A lot of people use to say that the world will end in 2013.

Still more than 2 months to go. Lets see what happens. If it does turn out to be true, then non of us would need immigration advice.

We did have near miss, with that meteor... :)

You don't need NI number as other have already confirmed.
