General dependant

Post by developer101 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 6:58 pm

Please guys I do need help in this as this got too late for me to bring my wife here.

my situation is: I have been on Tier 1 General since 2009.

I had different jobs since then. In 2010 I had worked in London for 4 months on 28k year. then in 2011 till March 2012 I had worked in firm on 25k.

Then from March 2012 to April 2013 I worked in another firm on 32k year.

Now a month ago I started work on 35k.

In December 2012 I got married.

i have been living on share house since i am in UK and I dont have any thing on me like gas bills etc.

My situation is that I cannot make agreement to get house. I want to keep living on share and want my wife to live in. House is big enough and only landlord lives in.

I am not getting my own house as current job is for 6 months and I am looking for better opportunity and might need to somewhere else.

Is it all necessary to get wife here as its upto us where we live. We can also live in hotel if we want to.

one more issue. out marriage was very basic due to an issue. We had few guests but close family members presence was there. There was no wedding card or invitation as most family members were called on phone. The reception was finally held in house although we had booking in wedding hall because the many of guests could not show up because of situation.

I was in Karachi so its understanding that city shuts down where there is an issue.

Will I have an issue in Tier 1 dependant visa?

Accommodation for bringing in your dependent was never a requirement according to the policy guidelines.

However, proving to ukba, that the marriage was genuine is a requirement, do you have a marriage certificate? issued by govt. body / authority?

Also proof of communication, phone calls, emails, skype will help.

Thanks. Yes we have marriage cert and few photos plus mostly phone calls on Skype and also mobile.

That's fine regarding housing.

But I have most recent only one salary slip as I started new job most recent.

The previous job ended in June 2013 which was for almost a year.

So I am thinking to submit recent salary slip along with previous salary slips from previous job. And employment letter from current job.
Should be fine for Tier 1 dependant?

Shall I be fine and I think on Tier 1 General one can change jobs as much as some one can right? Currently I got 6 months contract.

Proof of employment / salary slips is not a requirement for applying for dependent visa.

Read policy guidelines and supporting document guidance
