For how long I can be out of UK during first year of HSMP in order to get the HSMP extention for next 3 years.

Raj,
there have been a lot of discussions around regarding the same issue and I am sure that you can find at least 2 such topics if you search.
There's a statment in the hsmp guidence that you must have 9 months in the UK per year. So if there's no exception to this then the answer you're after is 3 months.
