PIO card application process and timeline for Birmingham

Post by ric1982 » Tue Sep 03, 2013 3:26 pm

Hi,

Does anyone knows how long does it takes to get PIO card for adult (it says 18 days on the website but I am looking for personal experiences) if one apply from Birmingham and also prepare to collect in person. Would they give a date on which we can collect?

Also do we need to stamp the British Passport live we do for OCI?

Thanks,

Can somebody please let me know your thoughts on Tracking a PIO application.?

Is that guarantee PIO card will be ready to collect on the collection date as mentioned on receipt.? I just want to prepare myself before collecting the card.

It would be great if anybody response to these queries.

Hi,

Can you pls tell how did you get this receipt? did you apply in person

I sent the PIO application by post for my child which was recieved on 04/09 and have heard nothing yet. They have his british passport too.

Any ideas from anyone on how to contact HCI? Have tried calling them several times but they don't seem to answer the phone at all

Hi
I am in the same boat, my post has received by HCI on 7th Oct 2013. There is no response to email and phone.
Please keep me posted with your progress.
Is there a option to go in person and enquire?

Best regards
Yoga

Thanks DesiBoys.

One more question for you.
I have applied in HCI London and I want to go in person to enquire.
What is the procedure? Do you need to take a token OR there is an enquiry counter which is open all day and I can just walk in.

Please let me know.

Best regards
Yoga

It's by token. You have to be in PIO queue.
