You can apply on 18/12/2015 if you are married to a British citizen on the date of application.

You can apply on 18/12/2017 if you are not married to a British citizen on the date of application.

There are other requirements for naturalisation such as good character, and KoLL. You will need to have Life in the UK Test pass letter & B1 level english qualification in speaking and listening to meet KoLL requirements.

There is more detail about making naturalisation application. You can ask for further guidance on the forum few months before you apply.

You can apply on 18/12/2015 if you are married to a British citizen on the date of application.

This is because, in 3 years immediately preceeding the date of application, you cannot have more than 270 days absence.

Also, you must have been physically present in UK 3 year immediately preceeding the date of application.

For naturalisation application, you have to count 3 years backward from the date you apply and see if you meet the requirements. What happened before 3 years is irrelevant.

If you carry on having very long absences in the future too, then you might never become eligible for naturalisation.

From today in addition to the LIUK test, you must meet a B1 English requirement, do you have a degree taught in English?

In the last 3 years how many days have you been absent from the UK and in the last 12 months how many days?

Over 2 years absenses.

OP's residence period only starts from 19th dec 2012. OP asked about residential requirements, and I replied.

It was 3 months ago. I think you are bored and just fishing old threads to impart your knowledge and advice.

That comment was not for you.

By the way 18/12 2015 is still a long way to go. 26 months.
