If you're applying for SET(M) now then it's the old rules as her spouse leave will have been granted before July 2012. Thus adequate maintenance rather than a specific financial requirement.

This what i was thinking but when i ask one of my friends he asked his solicitor and he told him this new financial requirements will apply for any settlement application after july 2013 .

She will apply exactly on first week of January 2014. So , hopefully she will be fine as she has been granted 2 years leave before July 2012.

Could you please send me the link to confirm this ? Also, What are the actual requirements of the adequate maintenance?

In conclusion , my wife has been granted her 2 years leave on february 2012 ( before july 2012). Therefore, the new finincial requirements will not apply to her case when she applies for settlement (ilr) on january 2014. The only new law will apply to her application is the new life in UK rules. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hi Guys,

I have another question. hopefully my wife will get her settlement on January 2014 so she will apply for naturalization on January 2015. My question is , she is pregnant and her due date will be on July 2015. I know for fact that she can't stay outside UK for more than 90 days in last year but she wants to go to her country so, her mum look after her. I don't know if it is possible to stay more than 90 days in last year before Naturalization?

you mean her EDD is July 2014 right.

Yes, I meant her estimated due date is July 2014 and she is willing to go her home country so, her mum look after her during pregnancy.
