It is important to establish her presence. It seems that the nationality team (dealing with naturalisation) are more relaxed on the supporting evidence required than the European cases team (dealing with EEA application). We have a straightforward case as I have been working for the entire 6 year period so can easily prove that I have exercised treaty rights. In that case, would it be important to establish that my wife has been living here for the past 6 years through bank statements, P60s etc.? Sorry I just cannot get over the fact that a passport will cover this?
