Time Limit Outside the UK

Post by mimisygk » Wed Oct 30, 2013 9:52 pm

Hi all,

I have got an FLR(M) visa now, with an expiry date of June 2015. I am planning to visit my parents in Tunisia around early 2015. My questions are:

- Is there a time limit that I will not be allowed to leave the UK, for example, 6 months before the visa expires?

- How long am I allowed to be outside of the UK?

I tried to find the answers on the internet but wasn't successful, hope you all can help. Thank you so much and god bless.

Absences should be limited and for good reason for settlement, I doubt that will cause an issue providing you show a subsisting relationship. Also, if you're a Tunisian National you may be entitled to claim certain public funds (page 21) (if ever necessary).

Hi Amber, thank you. I think my question is confusing. I intend to visit my parents back in Tunisia for a month in January 2014. My visa expires in June 2014. Is there such a requirement where I have to stay in the country for six months when it is approaching the expiry date? Thank you and god bless.
