Reg: Tier 2 Dependent VISA - Fund Maitenance

Post by kommipraneeth » Thu Oct 31, 2013 9:35 am

Hi All,

For applying Tier 2 dependent VISA from India we have to maintain a balance of £600 for 3 months in the main applicant's bank account, but can you please let me know whether we have to show these funds only in the UK bank accounts or any bank account in India would suffice the need?

Thanks,
Praneeth

Any bank account from India would suffice. Also it is not mandated that it has to be maintained in the main applicant's bank account.

As mentioned in page9 of the policy guidelines,
Family member of a tier 2 Migrant
54. You must have £600 to support yourself.
55. This requirement can be met by:
• having savings of £600 which must have been held for at least three months prior to the date of
application; or

Hi

I have Tier 2 General visa sponsored until November 2015
I have few questions regarding Tier 2 General dependent visa(for my wife applying from India) documents:
1)Funds Maintenance in a bank: Will the Indian bank statement be valid for applying the Tier 2 Dependent visa If she maintained £900 in her Indian bank account for 3 months? or Should I maintain £900 bank balance as well in my UK bank Account?
2)what is the correct amount which we need to maintain if we apply for Tier 2 dependant visa?
3)Do I definitely need to provide Tenancy agreement while applying in India?

Any response is greatly appreciated,

Thanks
Sam

It should be held in an acceptable financial institution.

If so, could you please let me know how much should for 3 consecutive months.

Any quick reply will be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

It's really urgent, can some one in the group reply to the question posted below.

-------------

By the time when I apply for my Wife's Tier 2 dependent VISA I would have been in UK for 8 months. So as I have been in UK for less than 12 months do I need to maintain in my personal bank account more than £600 as dependent funds?

If so, could you please let me know how much should for 3 consecutive months.

Any quick reply will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Praneeth
