T1 entrepreneur dependent

Post by sushiltl » Thu Oct 31, 2013 3:02 am

hi,

can some one help me with this. i got T1 entrepreneur visa in march 2013.
now i am about to apply for dependent visa.
while filling application i got a question " is main applicant employed"
shall i say "yes" or "no".
i am confused, as i am running my own company now.
if i say yes then it is asking for employer details, start date end date.

can some one help me with this

hi
if i was u, i would hve chosen yes, as u r employed by ur own company where u hv got ur job title n designation.

Again, I could be wrong, so just wait for expert's answers.

cheers

The answer is YES.

Thats how we got ours.

Attach a letter from your own company's HR stating your corporate position and that you are a director of the company.
Your compensation, start date etc on company letter head.

If you dont employ a HR (like most start ups).. Sign it your self as Director.

The letter should be signed by you and rubber stamped by your company's stamp. Get a rubber stamp done. Makes the letter look more authentic. Although in reality we all know it should not make any difference as the letter is original.

PLUS

Attach a letter from your accountant (letter head + rubber stamped). conforming that they work as accountants for your company xxxxxx with company number xxxxx registered in england and wales (for e.g.), and that your corporate position is xxxx, and you are a director of the firm.
Plus your salary is xxxx / annum. etc etc.

Both this is what we submitted and did the job.

Hope this helps.
