spouse visa - help me?

Post by RUTHZ » Wed Jun 13, 2007 9:14 pm

First of all i have to say that this a very helpful and informative forum.
i've got a big problem or should i say dilemma hanging over me.
i got married in April and my wife submitted her application at BHC islamabd in Mid May 07. i believe all her documentations are very well presented but she has not been contacted by bhc yet.
in the meantime, the longer she waites for a decision the more it may affect her application because my tenancy agreement she's submitted will expire end of July. Moreover, i can not renew the TA as the landlord needs the house for his own use. i m going to be moving into another address end of this month where i maybe able to get another Tenancy agreement. Now my question is:
should i let the BHC know about the change of address and send the new TA? or should i wait until they ask for it?
i would appreciate if you tell me what you think i should do or if you can share a similar experience.
cheers,
ruthz

Did she have a straight forward case or complex.
In simple cases it should take upto 3 months and she will be contacted for interview and Finger print scan. She must take all the relevant document with her in the interview as they may have these question already lined up for her.

With regards to contacting the BHC, dude you can certainly fax it to them but I really do not know how can the link up all these trailing faxes to the right application.
I think they just bin it as they are already over worked and surely cannot have an additional task for filing the faxes

If you do find out a way of updating them, then please do keep us posted
