Post by arunfruity » Sun Nov 03, 2013 3:47 pm

Hi All,

I am Arun and I work for a company in London for past 8 months under tier 2 General Visa. I got married just few days back and I am really confused with the docs required for applying tier 2 general dependent visa for my wife.
The docs I have kept are

1. 6 months pay slip
2. Original Marriage Cert in English
3. Marriage Photos
4. 600 pounds maintenance funds Bank statement with Bank letter
5. My passport and BRP visa copy (should this be attested or just photo copies needed ?)
6. House Contract document
7. Wedding invitation
8. TB test

Cold somebody let me know if I have left anything importnat in the list , should I get a letter from my company ? should I also write a letter inviting my wife to UK ?

Please its urgent
Thanks
Arun

Please see here. And the last page here. What you have seems fine.

Hi

Do we need to definitely attach the house tenancy agreement while applying for the dependent visa?
I cant find anything like that in the docs requirement page in UKBA website is it a must and should?

Sam

Thanks Arun for the reply.

How much amount are you maintaining in the bank account for the dependant visa is it £600? or £1500?

Make sure to have latest statements for submitting application. In india you can use current month bank statements till 24th of that month.
