Same day service

Hi all
I have applied for a same day service, Indefinite Leave to Remain..on the 27th Nov...i have also booked a ticket for overseas on the 2nd dec...You do get your vsa on the day right or is it a week later and can i get a temporary visa if they dont provide me with one on that day..
