Information Need uregently...

Post by toxicguy » Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:31 pm

I am currently on Post Study Work visa which is due to expire on the 2nd of December. I am planning to apply for Tier 1 entrepreneur by the end of this month.

The only problem that I am facing at the moment is that my three month period for maintaining my bank statements is getting completed on the 30th of November. My employer wants me to provide them with a confirmation letter before the 2nd of December otherwise they will terminate my contract the confirmation letter will at least take a week to arrive if I apply on the 30th of November.

Is it possible to apply for the visa before the 30th of November that is when the time maintaining my bank statements will be completed? I would really appreciate if someone can answer this question. Thanks ever so much.

@ toxicguy, don't take the risk of submitting maintenance bank statement that is less than 90days as that might be used against you by caseworker. My advice is that you submit your application once your statement is exactly 90days as required and also try to convince your employer that your existing PSW visa still continue once your application is with Home Office and also try to explain to them that under the law they cannot sack you if your application is under processing.

Ask your employer to confirm your status directly from Home Office once you submit your application.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.
