Under the rules
prior to 9th July 2012 or
afterwards?
Form SET(M) should tell you what documents are required.

Hello i was just wondering if some one can help me out with a query
my question is that i am working with an agency and am trying to get my wifes visa and was just wondering would i be able to show my proof working for/through an agency or do i have to be working for a company for my contract of employment and my payslips proofs to be acceptable.Or would working for an agency be proof enough that i am working and earning enough?

SET(M) is an in-Country settlement application, you're applying for a spouse visa outside the UK are you not?

As long as your payslips meet the Financial Requirement (if applicable) you should be fine.
5.5.2. Employment can be permanent, a fixed-term contract or with an agency.

Hello i have a question if you do not meet the financial requirements for a spouse visa is it possible to get help from a 3rd party such as a father or mother to meet the requirement and if you are not earning enough then how much saving should be in the account

Why are you asking about SET(M) when your wife doesn't even have spouse leave does she?

abu21 wrote:i am applying for a ILR visa for my spouse who is outside the uk in Pakistan and i have a query i need solved
i started my first job in Feburay 2014
and my second in April 2014
i have a earning of £1850
my savings are not very much i think round about £150 and if this amount is not acceptable then how much should my savings be
my pay day is the 28th of every month
i will have 5 months bank statements i can not provide the six because my wifes test expires on 15th July 2014 but i was thinking that maybe the payslips and statement i get from my 2nd job can make up for the 5 i get on my first one
and and i will also have 5 payslips from first job and 3 payslips from second job and i would like to hand in the visa form before her test expiry date
i would like to know would 5 months of bank statements and and 5 payslips be ok or would it have to be 6 ?
and if no i can not link the statements then would i have to show 12 months statements because i am doing 2 jobs
Casa wrote:Are you sure you are applying for the correct visa? ILR - SET(M) is for a spouse who has completed their probationary period in the UK.
abu21 wrote:no she has not completed the probationary period i am still trying to call her to the uk but wanted some advice if i could call her on 5 months statements and 5 Payslips and i am calling her on a spouse visa outside the uk
Casa wrote:Then SET(M) - ILR isn't the correct application (which you were advised in Nov 2013). You should be applying for a spouse settlement visa - VAF4a. I'll move this to the right forum.
You need a minimum of 6 months payslips from both jobs and 6 months bank statements. 5 won't be acceptable. Regarding savings, these will only be considered if you have over £16,000 held in an account in your name for at least 6 months.
SoHopeful wrote:If your total monthly income is from both jobs, you have to wait until October 2014 to apply when you have been in your 2nd job for 6 months.
Is £1850 your monthly salary?
If not, as Casa advised - you need sufficient savings for 6 months in addition to salary.
